Recently, from February 17 to 19, 2025, the Spring School 2025 event took place at the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM (UIT). The event, a series of public lectures, attracted a large number of students, faculty members, and researchers. It was organized in collaboration between the University of Information Technology (UIT) and the Institute of Mathematics and Advanced Research (VIASM).

The Fifth International Symposium on Signal Processing and Intelligent Recognition Systems (SIRS'19) aims to bring together researchers from academia, industry and government and to provide an international forum for the sharing, exchange, presentation and discussion of original research results in both methodological issues and different application areas of signal processing and pattern recognition. The technical program of the symposium will include tutorials, regular technical sessions, workshops, special sessions, demos and plenary/keynote speeches.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer in Communications in Computer and Information Science Series(CCIS), ISSN: 1865:0929. The proceedings will be available via the SpringerLink digital library. CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. The Communications in Computer and Information Science Series(CCIS) is listed in UGC-CARE List Group A (Scopus Source List).

SIRS 2019 is co-affiliated with the International Conference on Applied Soft computing and Communication Networks (ACN'19), December 18-21, 2019, Trivandrum, India. The Conference will feature few independent symposiums, plenary/keynote talks, workshops, demonstrations, parallel technical sessions and tutorials.

The Conference will be held at Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K), Trivandrum, India during December 18-21, 2019.
