The International Conference on Advanced COMPuting and Applications (ACOMP) is an annual, multi-track international forum for academics, engineers, practitioners and research students to exchange their ideas, techniques, methods, and state-of-the-art applications for advanced computing. Initially formed as a scientific venue for high-performance computing & advanced applications, the conference kept expanding and had a pedigree of attracting international and Vietnamese participants who both are interested in advanced topics of computer science & engineering. The first occurrence of ACOMP was dated back to as early as 2007.
We are heading for the 10th occurrence of the ACOMP conference in the year of 2016. In this 10th anniversary celebration, we aim to build an international, research-centric yet industry-friendly, environment where motivating ideas, intriguing talks, exciting discussions and fruitful collaboration in emerging fields and future trends of computer-related disciplines could flourish. ACOMP 2016 is currently calling for conference tracks in the following disciplines: information systems, software engineering, high performance computing, embedded systems, image processing and the like.
Conference venue: ACOMP 2016 will be held in the campus of Can Tho University of Technology. Located in the lovely downtown of the city of Can Tho, the hosting university plays an increasingly important role in education, science and economy of the southern area of Vietnam. Can Tho is the largest city in the Mekong Delta.
The NAFOSTED Conference on Information and Computer Science (NICS)
The NAFOSTED Conference on Information and Computer Science (NICS) is a series of scientific activities supported by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) to build a durable, innovative and conducive environment for research activities at universities and institutes, improve the research ability of young scientists and establish research groups that meet international standards. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from Vietnam and overseas in an academic forum to present and discuss recent advancements and future directions in the field of information and computer science. NICS 2016 will be held at Danang City during September 14-16, 2016 and hosted by The University of Danang.
